Here’s a way to boost your beauty routine that will make you smile. Susan and I were in New York last week taking in all the amazing things the greatest city on earth has to offer. We were strolling down Fifth Avenue, browsing the shops, when we were given a trial of a new brand of lipstick. Somehow we left the store with all this Trish McEvoy makeup! I was like “I really don’t need this”, but then I started using her Beauty Booster and now I’m addicted. I want to get three or four so I can have them in all my lipstick places.

My favorite Beauty Booster is raspberry. It adds instant ultra-flattering color to my lips and cheeks that really does boost my beauty. No kidding. The silky texture glides on and stays put, giving me a healthy glow. I know I sound like an ad but it’s true.

The shop girl showed us how to best apply it to really boost your beauty. First just run the lipstick over your lips and blot your lips with the pad of your finger. Then tap the excess on your finger tip onto the apples of your cheeks. If you want a deeper glow, apply it directly to the apples and then dot the area with your finger or a Trish cream brush until it’s blended. It’s really that easy for a professional look.

Last thing. I love that the Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster is paraben and fragrance free, plus they never test on animals. Shared values with any company and product is a big bonus in my book.

My greatest joy comes from simple everyday pleasures, like cooking for loved ones and table decorating for a special meal. I am drawn to nature too, so with Easter coming up I knew I wanted to create something simple, natural and beautiful to adorn my holiday table and delight my six grown children and dozens of grandkids.

With table decorating, there is so much joy infusing natural beauty with easy everyday items for these special moments. This year my inspiration item is Lotus leaves I saw at market with Willows designer Susan Rose. We knew right away the leaves would bundle cut flowers to anchor the perfect spring table. They do not disappoint! And they are easy to make.

Along with the flower bundles try filling a basket with goodies for table decorating for any occasion. To keep with the Easter theme, we used a simple African pink-handled basket with a sleepy bunny, surprise balls treats, and brand new KYMA sandals from Los Angeles. Your baskets will be sure to thrill and delight guests of any age.

Flower bundles and basket goodies are great for table decorating, but they have other talents too. The flower bundles can be perfect for a bridal shower, a hostess gift with a bottle of Verve or girlfriend gift, just because. Without really knowing it, I started building an Instagram community about three years ago. All my kids were on Instagram so I started a profile. My Favorite Part of My Instagram Community

I think the best part about my Instagram community is the beautiful spirit and creativity of our 5,000+ followers who are doing so many incredible things. We’re all drawn together by a love of a beautiful lifestyle without boundaries. This of course includes beautiful things and exceptionally beautiful design. Meeting and communicating with many like-minded people around the world inspires me. I’m grateful for the connection and the inspiration.

How I Grow My Instagram Community

The number one thing I do for my Instagram community is build relationships. I talk to and share with as many people as I can. This means liking and commenting in a supportive and usually funny way to whatever they are sharing, including Instagram stories. I also have a personal Instagram profile @bevburch, so often the lines are blurred. I have been known to switch between my personal and business accounts and then forget that I did! @willowsfinegoods will often like and comment on an adorable Burch family grandkid instead of me. I think this actually enhances the Instagram experience for my business.

The shop is packed with new looks with the Made in Los Angeles label. Los Angeles is really giving Italy a run for the money. The Made in Los Angeles label is fast-becoming a marker of quality cutting-edge fashion. I once read that Georgio Armani said if he was to live and design clothing anywhere else in the world it would be in L.A. He says the natural light in the city is just so beautiful.

Phoenix to Los Angeles – I’ve Got It Made

For me in Phoenix it’s a quick car-ride to Downtown Los Angeles to visit the Garment District and see the latest fashions made in Los Angeles. In between meals with my daughter-in-law Mary and Instagram posts, I got to mingle with some of my favorite brands like CP Shades and Frank & Eileen, plus I met some new ones like CQY.

Many of the Made in Los Angeles looks I brought back are classic wardrobe staples, like a delicious variety of soft cotton T-shirts and tanks by Michael Stars that are classically cool with jeans in any weather and perfect for layering.  Black, white and grey are my go-to colors. CP Shades is Made in Los Angeles – What You See is What You Get

I went a little bit crazy and felt like I bought the whole CP Shades spring line, which is actually sewn in San Francisco but shows at the Los Angeles Mart. Wait until you try on their amazing striped linen long-sleeved shirt. It feels so light and airy, it’s divine. I also brought back the Riley striped linen pants and several fun day dresses in linen too, of course. A fun day dress is every fashionable woman’s wardrobe must-have in 2019. Well, let me introduce you to the new ‘Meghan Markle’ shirt made in Los Angeles by Frank & Eileen. The Barry white denim cotton shirt is so hot right now we already sold a bunch after posting it the first day on Instagram. And the Eileen distressed blue denim long-sleeve shirt is our store favorite. Kim bought one and wears it every day.
