sometimes i find a bit of drifting off and dreaming of faraway lands can help with getting through a rough patch. life can present any variety of challenges and it never hurts to spend some time gazing at beautiful places, and well you know, paris is just always perfect for that. the perfect shades of white, magical windows and balconies, rows of flower shops…i could go on. just thought you might need some inspiration to pull you through the week. all images found via pinterest.

we recently tried out the new flower child location on central and camelback rd. such a cheery lovely spot in this gorgeous weather! if you are in the market for some healthier food and love to eat out, this may be your spot. with a chill in the air, we enjoyed a warm wild mushroom spicy pho soup (perfect for clearing those sinuses:) and some fantastic red chili glazed glazed sweet potatoes, alongside fresh lemonade and and iced mango green tea.  we had our eyes on the avocado hummus, the kale salad full of pink grapefruit, apple, black currant, smoked almond and white cheddar, as well as an enticing breakfast menu which includes a vegan hash, green veggie scramble and yum yum avocado toast with a soft boiled egg to boot. we will definitely be back for some guilt free noshing in this uptown center which is taking on a new fun look. never a dull food moment in the valley these days eh?

Greetings! My name is Emily Burch and I am the daughter of the most stylish and creative shop owner, Bev.

I have decided to make photography my business and have become very passionate and serious about taking pictures. I have been capturing moments for the longest time and have learned so much over the years about different angles and lighting and how taking a picture in the sun is impossible! I love it more than anything though. I get the warmest feeling inside just capturing amazing pictures because they can capture some of the happiest or important moments of your life.

I recently started a website for my work:  emilyburch.net. I am so thrilled to be working with my extremely talented mother and her Willowette team! I am based in southern California and Arizona, but dream of being a travel photographer so I am always willing to make the miles!

I will be taking some interior design pictures of The Willow’s design work around Arizona; capturing the unique finds of Bev and Susan. My photography captures a wide range of subjects, from babies and kids to senior/graduation pictures to weddings and food photography (since i love to bake!).
